Description
Sometimes you just need a break from everything. That’s kind of how biking is for me. I can just get out and think about nothing and push myself to a new level. I’m still nowhere near my friends who can bike 35 miles on a ride, but I’m pushing myself. It sucks that it’s getting cold. I’m not sure how I’m going to handle that.
This ride was up the Pinnacle Overlook in the Cumberland Gap National Park. It was only a 12 mile route from my parent’s house in Middlesboro, Ky. but the elevation climb goes from about 1,100 feet at the trailhead to 2,440 feet at the summit all in 3.5 miles. Shot this on my G9, which I always take with me.
