The coal project came to an end last night, but it was likely the beginning of a lifelong work for me.
This is a complicated story to tell. I don’t think there is any one way to look at coal mining, the environment or their role together. I’m no expert or specialist, I just grew up loving mountains and accepting that coal mining was a part of them.
