This young woman was checking out where a tree fell through her uncle’s bedroom and kitchen. He was in the kitchen when it happened, and had to be rushed to the hospital. She actually pulled him out of the debris. She lives there and was upstairs when the lightning struck the tree.

The storm was pretty bad, and I saw several houses with trees through them, but this one was the worst – the tree went through two houses.

This is my favorite picture I have taken since arriving in Memphis.
