I shot band portraits for my friend’s start-up folk group, Uncle Lady. The threesome went to school together, and are moving to Austin, Texas this October to take a stab at the music scene. From what I heard just on my front porch last night, I loved them.

Jeff, the one on the left, has been one of my best friends since I met him my freshman year of high school. Music brought us together, and it’s still a passion we share today. Before my freshman year of high school, a friend gave me Jeff’s phone number because he knew I was looking for a drummer for a band. Jeff and I talked on the phone before we ever met in person, and agreed to play together. We met in a social studies class, and high school just would not have been the same without him. Read more
