I had a slow assignment on Monday. It was basically a news conference for the United Way and some kids sang, but it didn’t produce very much at first. Then, as I was outside and about to leave I decided to photograph a bus that had a donated United Way advertisement on it. I figured if nothing else it helped me complete a well rounded slideshow. Then I turned around and saw this. Kids staring and pointing at the bus. This way, I get bus (reflection), cute kids (not singing, but who cares) and hopefully a happy editor in a dark newsroom (Courier Journal).
